Hank Moorlag
Hank joined the Force in 1964 and trained at Rockcliffe (Troop 2). His postings included “H” Division (Chester, Bridgetown), “G” Division (Grise Fiord, Cambridge Bay, Spence Bay, Yellowknife), “D” Division (Thompson, Grand Rapids, Falcon Lake, Winnipeg), “F” Division (Regina CCS), and “M” Division (Whitehorse – Div HQ).
Following retirement in 1995, Hank and Susan spent two years on Faro, Yukon where Hank worked as Director of Safety and Security for Anvil Range Mining. In 1997 Hank was appointed as Yukon’s Ombudsman and Information & Privacy Commissioner. Hank and Susan built a home near Carcross, Yukon overlooking the mountains and Bennett Lake and after six years there, moved to Whitehorse. Hank served two 5-year terms as Ombudsman/IPC, retiring in April, 2007.
Hank has served as President of Yukon Division for the past three years.

Jim Tiedeman
Jim joined the Force in 1957 and trained at “N” Division – troop 36. He was posted to “E” Division, serving in Surrey (twice), Grand Forks, Pattulo Bridge, Whiterock, Vernon, Clinton, Kimberley, and Fort St John. Jim transered to “M” Division in 1978, serving at Whitehorse Detachment and HQ, retiring in 1982.
Jim joined the Sheriff’s Department of the Yukon Government, remaining there for 16 years, fully retiring in 1998. It was while serving in Whiterock that he met and married Evelyn. They have three children and four grandsons, all living in Whitehorse. Jim is a charter member of the Yukon Division of the RCMP Veterans’ Association.

Bill Pringle
Bill joined the Force in 1952 at Sydney, N.S. After training at Depot and Rockcliffe, he served in Ottawa, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and spent 27 of his 31 years service working in NWT and Yukon.
He met his first wife Isabelle, a teacher, in Spence Bay. They retired from Whitehorse in 1983 to Carcross where they had built their retirement home.
After Isabelle died in 1986, Bill met and married Linda, a nurse. They are both now retired and live in Carcross.
The Pringles continue to be active in Yukon community service and volunteer work.
